I'd name her Sue.
I could jazzercise with her..
We would go exploring together..

An Elephant named Sue would leave big piles of...
That's one of the reasons I haven't gotten a beautiful baby elephant.
Another one would be keeping my neighbors happy.
That would require serious fencing like below:
But having an elephant is precious.
Here's a few facts for you about elephants and why they are wonderfully made:
1. they are the largest of all land animals
2. they are a favorite of people all over the world
3. they are over ten feet tall & weigh more than 10,000lbs
4. their ears are the shape of Africa and can weigh 110 lbs each
5. this unusual sweetie grows two teeth that grow several feet long.
6. An elephant's nose reaches the ground
7. There are two basic types:
African with same shaped ears
Asian with smaller ears & a double domed head
African elephants don't
While both sexes of African elephants have tusks, the Asain girls tusks are so short you can't see them!
Elephants are known to live to eighty years!
They'd make great life time friends to my tortoises who should live 150 years. I should be around 193 when they get there.
An elephant can run 24 mph! (I can't)
Momma Elephants HOMESCHOOL and are good mommas!
Elephants love to take baths! (even the boys!!)
Elephants communicate & are social
They are wonderful swimmers
Elephants scarcely leave foot prints because their great weight is so evenly distributed
It is thought that early people mistook the elephant skull for a giant with only one eye! The center hole was for the trunk not a giant Cyclops.
Elephants are better then modern machinery
Elephants require 300 lbs of food a day
And they drink 15,000+ gallons in one year

Bye my lovable wonderful sweet kind baby elephant, I'd adopt you if I could. I'll keep you in my heart forever.
